You can use Mapagi without an account — then it collects no personal data about you.

Courses without an account are stored only in your browser (local storage). They never reach the server unless you share a course.

An account is optional. For it we store only your e-mail address, your courses, your chosen appearance and the list of signed-in browsers (browser and system type, when last used). There is no password — you sign in with a link or a code sent by e-mail. The e-mail is used only for signing in; we send nothing else. You can delete the account at any time on the Account page — it goes with all its courses and shared links.

Sharing stores a copy of the course on the server — obstacles, numbers and the title, nothing else. Anyone with the link can see it; there is no public list of copies. A copy shared from an account is listed on the Account page, where you can delete it. An anonymous copy nobody opens for a long time is deleted.

An image underlay is never uploaded; it is processed only in your browser.

Cookies: only the necessary ones — signing in (if you do), language and appearance. No analytics or advertising. Your IP address is kept briefly in the server's memory only to protect against flooding, and never stored.

Visit counter: how many people use Mapagi is counted by GoatCounter, an anonymous counter. It learns the page visited (for a course or a shared link only the kind of page, never which course), the page the visit came from, the screen width and whether the app runs from the home screen. It sees the IP address and browser like any website, but doesn't store them, and nothing is stored on your device.

E-mails are sent through Resend.
